“Le Barbatelle” is Torre di Canicarao’s restaurant. “Barbatelle” are small graft vines and the restaurant name evokes the activity that was once carried out in the large room that today serves as the dining room.
“Le Barbatelle” serves traditional Ragusan and Sicilian specialties. Each dish is prepared with care, based on traditional recipes, with a touch of fantasy. Because dishes are prepared with carefully selected ingredients, the restaurant must fix the menu in advance and stock up on the fresh, genuine products required. The restaurant seats up to 150 diners. In the summer months, open-air dining is possible in the large courtyard that seats up to 250 people.
